The food here is really good for the price you're paying and the service is really good as well. waitress made sure everything was fine. Steak was a bit overcooked but everyone makes a mistake every now and again but most of the time the steak is just perfect for me
The bar was low for Texas Roadhouse but its a classic and I cant stay away. I use to frequent the Grand Prairie location but was out at HEB and decided to come eat at this location instead. I was blown away at the stark contrast of this location. The moment we walked in the hostess' were smiling and friendly. The restaurant was clean and organized and we were sat down with no wait. Our server Dawson came over promptly go our drinks, appetizers, salads, butter, bread,etc. within 5 or less minutes of being sat. We got our food order in and maybe waited 10-15 minutes at max. We never once waited on a refill for anything. We never once had unnecessary dirty plates left on the table. When Dawson brought my husband's steak out he waited at the table to make sure it was cooked to perfection. He checked on us several times and overall was incredibly attentive and friendly. We even mentioned to him about how much better this location was and it was mentioned how we arent the only ones that feel so about the Grand Prairie location. We will definitely back and hope to have Dawson as our waiter again! Thanks Mansfield!!
Every time I go to Texas roadhouse I enjoy the food that I eat. Granted, I eat the same thing every time I go to Texas roadhouse. I'm eating chicken fried steak all over the country. I've eaten chicken fried steak from greasy spoons to nice restaurants and places to claim they have world famous chicken fried steak. However, not a single one of them have chicken fried steak that is even half as good as the chicken fried steak at the Texas roadhouse. It is hands-down the best chicken fried steak I have ever eaten. What was missing? Was that greasy aftertaste that you get about halfway through Most chicken fried steaks. These were cooked to perfection. Their baked potatoes are large and when they say loaded, they are loaded I promise you will not leave this restaurant hungry. Unfortunately, on a busy day you may come close to dying of starvation before you get in, because there is always a line I was trying to decide whether I should leave a four star or five star review because of the long wait to get in, but went with five stars because if that many people are waiting to get into this one restaurant, you know it is worth the wait.
Went on a busy Sunday , here's a tip download and use the app check in and wait in the comfort of your own vehicle .. prevents waiting inside and possibly suffer of a claustrophobic attack lol... it gets crowded! So joining the waitlist wins every-time! You can also pick your steak! That's right and have them cook it the way you want it.. light medium well has been my go to lately! Sunday I woke up another year older and I was like I'm craving steak and beer and my husband made it happen! I gotta say it definitely hit the spot then we got to watch some much needed football! Sounds like the perfect Sunday to me! And the dinner rolls had to be the cherry on top! We did suffer from food comas afterwards, but definitely worth it! I will be back! This time with my stretchy pants lol! Be sure to tip your waiter!
Nice night out at Texas Roadhouse. This particular location is never slow, so we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. Service was great. I particularly enjoyed the ribs which were fall off the bone and delicious! Great value here, for the amount and quality of food it's hard to beat.
I was craving steak so we figured we'd try it. Pleasantly surprised to find it to be extremely good. Medium rare cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. The give you a basket of warm biscuits with cinnamon butter as you're seated, so you can snack while looking over the menu. We split the loaded baked potato and green beans. House salad comes chilled with dressing on the side and has lots of toppings. Overall a delicious steak meal that was reasonably priced with fantastic service in a fun atmosphere and you can see the TVs from any table so we could watch the Olympics!
